Green Abundance Drinks

GREEN ABUNDANCE DRINKS

Nourishing the mother throughout pregnancy, and the postpartum period is important you’re your body, mind and spirit.  These delicious green drinks are full of nutrients for you and your growing baby.   A wonderful addition to anyone’s diet to drink up this spring, hydrating, full of vital nutrients and yes, tasty!!  
Easy to make, any blender will do, I have been using a hand-me down blender bought at a garage sale.   It does not have to be expensive to be healthy, and feel good.

GREEN fruit smoothie recipe:

1 frozen banana

1 cup of blueberries or strawberries

2 handfuls of spinach

Juice of one lime (optional)

2 cups of water or coconut water

Blend and enjoy!  If there is extra, it can be stored in a glass jar in the refrigerator for 24-48hrs, although I suggest drinking it up. 

BLUE-GREEN power smoothie:

2 Tablespoons of hemp protein powder

1 Tablespoon of maca root powder

3 Tablespoons of spirulina or other blue-green algae

2 bananas (ripe or frozen)

3 cups of water

Blend and enjoy!!
